PLOT ALLOCATIONS

Reservoir Lane Allocations Policy

All plots will be prioritised for those with a local connection.


A perpetual local connection clause on the title deeds of the plot and subsequent property will prioritise all sales and future resales of the plots and subsequent houses to people who meet the same local connection criteria. 
 

In addition, Petersfield CLT will be allocating a number of discounted self/custom build plots to means tested local households. These plots will be discounted from open market price by at least 30%.


A covenant on the title deeds of the plot and subsequent house will limit all future resales perpetually to the same percentage of open market value as the plot was originally sold at.

Overarching Principles

The Trust aims to administer the scheme adhering to four key principles:


Openness

Petersfield CLT is seeking to address local housing need. They therefore seek to advertise plots in such a way that a significant cross-section of the local population will have an opportunity to hear of the opportunities and apply.


Simplicity

Petersfield CLT seek to make accurate and understandable documentation, easily available online.


Transparency

Potential buyers will receive feedback on their application. The decision-making process will be clear throughout.


Fairness

Criteria will be assessed by the allocations panel solely according to the published CLT policy and will be free from discrimination.
